Carridene is the pretty comfortable home of Vanessa and David where a warm welcome awaits in this beautiful part of the New Forest. A lovely ride through the New Forest brings you to Carridene; just a taste of the beautiful scenery, New Forest ponies and quiet peaceful walks that you could be enjoying during your stay.

A short drive will take you to Salisbury and Fordingbridge or visit the many hamlets and villages around the New Forest which has so much to offer you, from attractions to museums, horse riding, cycling, walking are just a few of the things you can do.

THE ACCOMMODATION AT CARRIDENE BED AND BREAKFAST

The bedrooms are very spacious and all rooms are beautifully furnished with a high standard of cleanliness

A deluxe double room with 6' bed, which can be made into a twin if necessary, overlooking the open country side. With en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over. Plenty of fitted cupboards, and a pair of comfortable easy chairs.
Television and tea/coffee making facilities.

This charming well fitted Twin Bedded room, known as the Blue Room can also be a 6 foot double if required. This has plenty of fitted cupboards, dressing table and stool. With en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over. Television and tea/coffee making facilities.

 

A further Double room is available with a standard size bed with en-suite shower room. Wardrobes and dressing table -Television and tea/coffee facilities complete this pretty room.
 

Breakfast is served in the beamed dining/breakfast room from 8.00 am - 9.00 a.m weekdays 8.00 am to 9.30 am weekends. Earlier breakfast by request. A choice of breakfast will be served and vegetarians are welcome. Special diets are catered for by arrangement.
 

Carridene is in walking distance to The Lamb Inn and to a French Restaurant where both serve excellent meals. The village green where you might catch the local cricket team playing is opposite the Lamb. They are surrounded by the open New Forest where, ponies, cattle, and sometimes pigs can be seen wandering through the lanes and villages. With safe off street parking and lock up available for bikes this is the ideal spot to unwind, relax and recharge those batteries.

For the comfort of our B&B guests there is no smoking in the house. We are also unable to cater for children or pets.  Easy off road parking.

THE ACCOMMODATION AT CARRIDENE SELF CATERING

Carridene annexe is part of Carridene the home of Vanessa and David with its own private entrance and patio garden at the rear looking over open country side as far as you can see. Carridene annexe is in a wonderful part of the New Forest on the northern fringes.

The accommodation is of a very high standard, very comfortably furnished and most rooms have beamed ceilings and everything you need for a perfect holiday or break to recharge your batteries in this quiet peaceful area. Vanessa and David have pleasure in offering you the following:-

The magnificent bedroom reflected in the mirror wardrobes has a double and a single bed under the window. A further small bed can be added to sleep a family of four if required.

A very pretty pink bathroom with bidet, wc, pedestal basin and bath with shower over is opposite.

The charming very comfortable lounge area with views across the country side comes with gate leg dining table and chairs a comfortable settee and matching armchair. Colour Television with free view, video and plenty of videos for you to watch. A beautiful brickfire place with electric coal effect fire gives it a lovely homely feel.

From the lounge a sliding door takes you into a small conservatory overlooking the country side and the owners private garden. Whicker conservatory chairs, table and chairs also makes this an ideal room for relaxing and having your meals if you wished.

The patio area shown here, for your private use with patio table and chairs overlooking the country side and catches the sun. Relax with that cup of coffee.

All bed linen and towels are supplied

All gas central heating, hot water, towels and tea towels are supplied.
Children are welcome in family room.  Easy off road parking.

Directions on how to find Carridene

Exit at Junction 1 of M27 towards Bournemouth. Turn right at next roundabout towards Brook and Bramshaw.
Pass Straight Eight garage on right. At crossroads in Landford turn left on to Forest Road.
Continue for approximately half a mile and turn right into North Lane.
Carridene is 150 yards on the right hand side.
