The camping and caravan site is situated down a farm track where you will be greeted by one of the owners or one of their helpers as well as Canada Geese, Wild Ducks and Moorhens.  There are two lakes here where the wildlife nest and rear their young.  One lake is stocked with coarse fish for the avid fisherman or woman. Teeming with wild life such as deer, squirrels, rabbits and woodpeckers you will find your stay delightful.

Taking a stroll through the location will lead you through all year round caravan hard-standing for your unit, electrical hook-ups and space for awning and car over-looking the lakes.  We also have shower facilities and toilets.

The camping area is situated separately close to forest access.

Continuing further there are grassed sites with silver birch trees giving privacy and a small wooded area some more hard standing overlooking the lakes and fields.  Beyond there lies a specially designed wooded area for walking your pets.

Our own private access gate leads out into the open Forest and commons, you can, of course, let your dogs off their leads here but please keep them under control as the wild ponies, donkeys, sheep and cattle are allowed to graze these areas.

Our site is a natural park but has all the facilities to help make your stay a pleasant one.  Whether it's freedom you're looking for, walking, bird watching or cycling these are all at your fingertips.
